The 2018 fishing season is well underway on the Deveron. The poor weather in February and March made for a quiet start but spring has now sprung and reports of fish are coming in!

Best Fish of the Season so far from Deveronside Fishings’ beats

We’ve had some cracking fish including 14lb springers but Graeme Cheyne caught this super 16lb salmon on Ardmiddle at the end of April. Congratulations Graeme!

Ferry Cottage Improvements

Over winter we put a new road in at Ferry Cottage to allow easier access to the property and a car park down by the cottage entrance. We hope guests will agree that the new road, car park and outdoor area are a positive change for the holiday home. My favourite feature of the improvements is the wishing well that is in the process of being built at the front of the cottage. Here are a couple of photos of the works in progress... use your imagination! Everything will be complete soon!
